The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, stormed Federal High Court 4, Abuja, in solidarity with IPOB Leader, Nnamdi K​anu,​ who was arraigned before Justice Nyako.Daily Post reports that Kanu, through his defence counsels led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, asked the court to set aside the order made on December 13, 2016 for the protection of witnesses.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, says President Muhammadu Buhari has now become a part-time and ceremonial President who is only seen during the Friday Jumat service at the Presidential Villa.
Speaking on Sunday, through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said it was necessary for Nigerians to be properly informed about the well-being of their President.
Fayose, who said Buhari, like any old man, was susceptible to illness, said the President would do well to go and take proper care of his health and allow the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, to constitutionally act as the President.

It has been a week now when residents and farmers within Ketu South Municipality and its neighbours have been experiencing terrifying moments both day and night.

There was this creature that camouflage into either pig, guinea pig, or any other wild animal and enter kraal, pen or other dwellings of animals and devour the ordinary pig, sheep, cow, chicken and other animal it chance on by eating the intestines, lever, heart and other delicate part, leaving the remains and disappear thereof.

A 16 year old girl has been beaten and burned to death in Guatemala by a lynch mob, after she was accused of killing a taxi driver.

How To Make Easter Rainbow Cake

What you will need:
6 layers of your favourite cake
4 x quantity of  My Buttercream Icing Recipe
food colour pastes
sugarpaste + gum tragacanth/gum arabic
toothpicks
Easter Egg + candy

When I decided to make Easter Rainbow Cake , I used Pound Cake Recipe  because it gives  excellent results. and i used Butter Icing for decoration See Pound Cake Recipe HERE and And ButterCream ICING HERE.

Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, And Purple gel food coloring


Pound Cake Recipe:

6 large eggs, room temperature

6 tablespoons milk, room temperature

3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

 (330 grams) sifted cake flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

(300 grams) granulated white sugar

 (300 grams) unsalted butter

  
Preparetion: 

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush six 9-inch-round cake pans (or as many 9-inch cake pans as you have, reusing them as necessary) with shortening. Line bottom of each cake pan with parchment paper; brush again and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar. Slowly add egg whites and mix until well combined. Add vanilla and mix until fully incorporated. Add flour mixture and milk in two alternating additions, beginning with the flour and ending with the milk. Mix until well combined.         
3. Divide batter evenly between six medium bowls. Add enough of each color of food coloring to each bowl, whisking, until desired shade is reached.
   

   

   Transfer each color to an individual cake pan. Transfer to oven and bake until a cake tester inserted into the center of each cake comes out clean,         
4. Remove cakes from oven and transfer to a wire rack; let cool for 15 minutes. Invert cakes onto a wire rack; re-invert and let cool completely.
5. Using a serrated knife, trim tops of cakes to make level. Place four strips of parchment paper around perimeter of a serving plate or lazy Susan. Place the purple layer on the cake plate. Spread a scant 1 cup Buttercream filling over the first layer with a small offset spatula so it extends just beyond edges. Repeat process with blue, green, yellow, and orange layers.
   

   
6. Place the remaining pink layer on top, bottom-side up. Gently sweep away any loose crumbs with a pastry brush.
   

   

   
   

   Using an offset spatula, cover the top and sides with a thin layer of frosting (also use any of the excess frosting visible between the layers). Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes. 
   
7.      Using an offset spatula, cover cake again with remaining frosting.
   
8. Sprinkle some  left over particles of green cake ontop.  (optional) Add Rainbow on top it. Decorate with colorful candy and 2 Easter egg, it helps make the cake more festive.
   
9. Consider mixing in some fun food coloring on the cake body to give it a splash of color.
   
   you will use the toothpicks and gum to stick the Rainbow because its not gonna hold itself up.
