The Sacked 6 police aides attached to the Rivers state governor,Nyesom Wike have staged a protest at the police command headquarters in Rivers state. The alleged action was on the 12th of December, 2016, while Governor Wike came under attack by officers of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) led by Mr. Akin Fakorede when the Governor visited the Rivers East Collation Center after it had been invaded by SARS. That incident was captured on Channels TV, the mainstream media and the social media.
On the other hand, Mr. Akin Fakorede, the SARS leader accused to have beaten up INEC members and stolen electoral results in favour of the APC with evidence captured on video and streamed on the social media has been promoted by the police command according to a Facebook post by Oraye St Franklin, SSA to governor Wike.
