"We got married for us" Nigerian Gay right activist, Bisi Alimi says as he shares his official wedding photos

A Nigerian Gay activist, Bisi Alimi who tied the knots with his gay oyibo partner, Anthony Davis on November 6th, 2016 has revealed the reasons they got married. In an interview with Kito Diaries, Bisi released his official wedding photos and talked about the LGBT rights in Nigeria, his wedding to his partner and his reaction to Bobrisky calling out gay men.

Speaking on the implications of their marriage in their different countries, Bisi said even though their marriage is regarded as a reference point and a political fuck you in their different countries, they were just the two people who were in love and decided to get married
"It feels good to hear my wedding being regarded as an LGBT 'reference point." He said, However, that was not the plan, I was marrying the man I love and although we both know our marriage was a political 'fuck you' to our countries, the most important thing that day was two people in love getting married" he added.
When asked why he called out Bobriskky for supporting the same sex marriage prohibition bill, he revealed that he called him out not because he said he wasn't gay but because he supported the law.

He went on to say he would be there for Bobrisky if he needs someone to mentor him as he believes Bobriskky has helped a lot of gay men in Nigeria become their authentic selves. See more photos below..
